£43,434 to £50,296 per annum
This is an opportunity to join the successful School of Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of East Anglia (UEA). It is embarking on an exciting period of growth and development in research and postgraduate education.
We seek an enthusiastic and highly motivated Lecturer to make substantial contributions to research, teaching and supervision in the School. Applications are invited from those with specialist expertise in one or more of the areas outlined below and who have a breadth of interest and the capability to work across our research domains and groups.
- Pedagogy, Curriculum and Professional Learning – focusing on the development and support of applied and practice-based research in education
- International Education and Social Change – focusing on educational policies and practices across the globe that influence social transformation
- Lifelong Learning Cultures – focusing on the broader socio-cultural and material contexts in/through which learning and transformation happens.

The successful candidate will have a PhD (or equivalent) and relevant teaching experience in a higher education context and will be expected to demonstrate readiness for future REF submissions through a demonstrable high quality publication record and research trajectory. They will be expected to have the flexibility to contribute to teaching and supervision in their specialist area of expertise, as well as broader education and research areas across the range of our programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels.
Support will be provided to grow research and teaching expertise through staff development programmes.
The post is available from 2 May 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter, on a full-time, indefinite basis.
