REF: SC4287

£21,197 to £23,144 per annum pro rata

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Faculty Professional Services team working in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Our work covers a broad cross section of topics, working in partnership with academic colleagues and other professional service units to ensure the smooth running of our Schools and facilities.

You will provide an efficient, high quality and pro-active administrative service within the Faculty, supporting the physical facilities themselves, and helping to organise, execute and record a wide variety of processes including teaching and advising activity, financial processing, communications across a range of platforms, and working as part of a team on discrete projects of work.

You will work within and across multiple departments and teams, meaning that you will need to be able to work and communicate collaboratively with a variety of colleagues.

You will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English and Mathematics (or equivalent qualifications or experience) and demonstrable experience of working in a busy office environment. In addition, you will have the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident with IT.

This is a hybrid working opportunity, with a combination of working at home and working as required on a rota basis across our sites on campus and in the city centre. We will provide you with all the tools you will need to do this effectively.

This part-time, 0.6 FTE post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.

Closing date: 10 November 2022
