£21,197 to £23,144 per annum, pro rata

CreativeUEA is a new integrated interdisciplinary research theme at the University of East Anglia. It is the second of what is hoped will be approximately five interdisciplinary strategic research themes which emphasise UEA’s unique research strengths and bring together researchers from across UEA and the Norwich Research Park to create critical mass and address key global research challenges.

CreativeUEA combines the University’s long history of high-quality research in the creative arts (in particular in literature, arts, media, and drama) into new interdisciplinary research activities incorporating research from across the campus (Faculties of Science, Social Sciences, and Medicine & Health Sciences) and the Norwich Research Park.

The theme is directed by an internal leadership group and supported by a senior lead academic with buyout time to Chair the leadership group, an Executive Officer and an Administrator (this post).

You will be responsible for supporting internal information and networking for UEA and Norwich Research Park researchers on creative research taking place across the Norwich Research Park with regards to past, present and potential future projects and activities; provide administrative support to the internal Leadership Group with coordination of meetings and events; and with the support of the Executive Officer, develop systems to record, collate and report on relevant research, contributing to the collation of data and information for use in external funding bids and in reporting internally and externally.  One of the key activities for the successful candidate will support the CreativeUEA strategic communications including social media and events.

You must have a minimum of 2 A-levels and 5 passes at GCSE (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent qualifications or experience. Experience of working with multiple stakeholders on a project and coordinating complex arrangements is desirable but not essential.

The post is available immediately on a part-time (0.3FTE) fixed term basis to 18 April 2026.
