Do you have great administrative skills and love working with people? Then this is the job for you!
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly, fast paced and forward-thinking administrative team.
You will provide an efficient, high quality and pro-active administrative service to the School’s pre-registration nursing and midwifery. This is a busy and varied role and you will interact with a wide range of university staff and key external organisations. You need to be proactive, flexible and adaptable, taking responsibility for progressing projects or tasks with limited supervision.
In order to meet the demands of this role, you will also have:
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience of working with office procedures and administrative systems.
- High standards of customer service and excellent communication skills.
An internal secondment will be considered and applicants are required to confirm with their line manager that this is possible and approved prior to submitting an application.
This post is available immediately on a part-time (0.9fte), fixed term basis to 30 August 2024 to cover the secondment of the current post holder. Benefits include a generous holiday entitlement, staff development and hybrid working on a beautiful campus.
Closing date: 10 November 2022.
The University is committed to diversifying its workforce. As examples, we already hold an Athena SWAN Silver Institutional Award in recognition of our advancement towards gender equality. We also have a Vice-Chancellor led Taskforce on Tackling Racism and a Race Equality Charter Working Group which support our work on race equality. Our aim is to submit to the Race Equality Charter in 2024.
