Exam Invigilation Staff

£10.38 per hour (plus holiday pay) 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University’s exam invigilation team. As an Invigilator you will join a pool of trained staff to administer and run exams during the University’s three Assessment Periods and occasional Faculty of Medicine and Health exams throughout the academic year, providing a friendly and professional service. 

You will be required to follow predetermined instructions to complete work as part of a team and alone as necessary. This will involve you delivering clear and accurate instructions to large groups of students and will require you to use your initiative to solve problems. You will be expected to work sensitively with different people’s needs and remain calm as you enforce the University’s Regulations. 

Examinations take place throughout the year, our peak periods of activity are: January Assessment Period; June Assessment Period; MB BS Summer Exams (June/July); and the August Reassessment Period. 

You must be able to satisfy all criteria in the person specification for the post and have good availability to work during the following periods:

16 – 27 January 2023
30 May – 16 June 2023
1 – 15 July 2023
7 – 18 August 2023

Successful candidates will be required to attend a one-day training session on Wednesday 23 November 2022. Current Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught students at the University of East Anglia are not eligible to apply for this role.
