Lecturer in Marine Ecology (0.5fte)

£44,737 to £51,805 per annum, pro rata
The University of East Anglia invites applications for a lectureship within the School of Environmental Sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to develop research programmes in marine ecology and contribute to teaching, assessment and module organisation in courses on marine ecology, climate regulation and sustainable marine resource use at undergraduate and potentially postgraduate levels.
You must have a PhD (or will soon submit) in ecology, marine sciences, environmental sciences or similar, with research experience in marine ecology, biological oceanography, and climate science. The School offers a rich multidisciplinary environment and we encourage applications from those who may also have an interest in the intersections between ecology, oceanography and climate science. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm, and sufficient proficiency and knowledge to contribute to training in the class and field-based training and be able to fulfil all other essential elements of the person specification.
This part-time 0.5fte post is available immediately for a fixed-term period until 30 September 2024.
