The School of Computing Sciences is on a major trajectory for growth in terms of new course developments as well as national and international research collaborations with distinguished institutions and industrial partners.  In recognition of the unprecedented growth in the economy for Computer Scientists and the importance of the area, UEA is also in the process of planning for a future purpose-designed building to host the School, its teaching facilities and research groups.

We have a full-time indefinite Lecturer position available within our highly regarded School of Computing Sciences, on our Academic Teaching & Scholarship (ATS) pathway which focuses primarily on teaching and related innovations linked to Undergraduate and Post Graduate taught programmes.  ATS staff are also expected to develop engagement activities with other Schools across the campus and external stakeholders.  We manage a range of Undergraduate and Post Graduate Taught Programmes in Computer Science,with key topics such as Software Engineering, Data Science, Electronics, Telecommunications and Cyber Security. AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Systems Engineering are involved.

You will undertake supervision and advisory roles for both undergraduate and MSc students, relevant administrative roles activities linked to student engagement in support of the School’s TEF objectives, and to assist with new developments in our teaching.

You will have a minimum of a PhD (or equivalent experience or qualification) in Computing Science or cognate area and be able to fulfil all essential elements of the person specification for the respective post grades.  

This post is available immediately on a full-time, indefinite basis.
