£35,333 to £42,155 per annum
The Sainsbury Centre is working towards an exciting relaunch in 2023 to tie in with our fiftieth anniversary. This role of Chief Alchemist will be an essential component in helping us to create the necessary resources to support it. Primary responsibilities will be to creatively generate and manage relationships with individual, corporate and regional trusts and foundations giving for Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts. The post-holder will initiate, co-ordinate and manage the activities for individual and corporate giving, working closely with the Director and Board Chair.
In addition, the role will be to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward a portfolio of corporates, high net worth individual donors and prospects to deliver philanthropic income to the Sainsbury Centre. The role involves personally managing these high value relationships to maximise income streams to the Sainsbury Centre. The post holder will report directly to the Director.
Applicants must be educated to degree level, or equivalent, and have relevant experience within a museum or Higher Education and/or Charity/Not-for-profit sector.
The post is available immediately on a full-time, indefinite basis.
