Communication, Marketing and Events Officer (Part time 0.7 FTE, fixed term
maternity cover)

£35,333 to £42,155 per annum pro rata
UEA’s Research and Innovation Service (RIN) are looking to recruit a Communication, Marketing and Events Officer to be responsible for the effective communication and promotion of successes and opportunities arising from Research and Innovation Services at UEA.
In this role you will be externally facing, developing and delivering a strategy to build on relationships with the University’s many stakeholders and creating resources to increase awareness and engagement of businesses with the varied opportunities and outputs of the division. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing department to ensure that the University’s key messages are being incorporated into planning.
You must be educated to degree level or have equivalent level of experience in a relevant subject. In addition, you will have substantial experience of working in a similar communications/marketing role including working with digital media, paper-based publications and event management. Applicants will be expected to satisfy all essential criteria outlined in the person specification.
This part-time post (0.7 FTE) post is available from 17 April 2023 on a fixed term maternity cover basis for a period of up to 12 months.
A secondment will be considered, and applicants should please ensure that a secondment will be possible with their Line Manager/Head of Department, before submitting a formal application.
