Student Communications Officer
Ref: SC4326

£27,929 to £34,308 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Student Communications Officer to join UEA’s Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing team.

We are looking for someone who can produce compelling content that informs and excites our students; someone who understands the requirements of digital, print, face to face and social communications.

You will be confident creating, delivering and measuring reactive and proactive campaigns. You will work with teams across the university to understand student issues and opportunities, telling those stories with impact and measuring the effectiveness of the campaigns.

You will lead the delivery of communications for key aspects of student life, from welcome week to assessments.

The UEA offers a vibrant campus location and stunning countryside and our hybrid way of working providing an excellent work/life balance. UEA is an international, innovative and progressive University with a thriving research and student community.

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.

UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working. Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.

Closing date: 1 February 2023

The University is committed to diversifying its workforce. As examples, we already hold an Athena SWAN Silver Institutional Award in recognition of our advancement towards gender equality. We also have a Vice-Chancellor led Taskforce on Tackling Racism and a Race Equality Charter Working Group which support our work on race equality. Our aim is to submit to the Race Equality Charter in 2024.
