Placement & Internship Administrator
Ref: SC4306
£23,715 to £27,131 per annum, pro rata
Fixed Term, Full or Part-Time (minimum 0.8FTE)
UEA Careers Service is looking for a highly motivated individual to join a busy and friendly team to facilitate and support increasing numbers of students into placements and internships. The successful candidate will provide customer facing and administrative support to students, graduates, and employers across a wide range of placement and internship activities. The role will be a hybrid mix of working from home and on campus at UEA with the specific mix a discussion with the line manager.
The successful candidate will enjoy working under pressure and have a flexible approach, be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, together with a good level of competency in IT. Superb customer service skills are essential, as is a professional manner and proactive approach to tasks. The team works closely together and the role will require a genuine collaborative approach.
The post is available from 20 February 2023 on a 12-month fixed term duration to cover a period of maternity leave. UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who may want to consider a flexible working pattern. Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview, we are willing to appoint at any point between 0.8FTE and 1.0 FTE.
