Ref: TC831
£23,715 to £27,131 per annum
We have exciting opportunities for IT professionals with a strong background in IT support and service delivery to join our support teams. You will make a significant contribution to the on-going delivery of our service and help to provide IT solutions to our customers within a changing business and technical environment.
You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced environment with a solutions-focussed approach to problems and supporting projects. Your wide range of practical IT technical skills and self-motivated approach will ensure the provision of services and support for a range of customers and you will play your part in delivering our diverse IT strategy.
The role requires you to be able to work independently and as part of a team. Experience of Service Management (SM) principles in line with the IT Infrastructure Library’s best practice framework and the use of ITSM systems, would be advantageous.
We have three full-time posts immediately available, one on an indefinite basis and two on a fixed term basis ending 6 March 2023 and 31 July 2023.
UEA offers a variety of flexible workingoptions and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working. Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.
Closing date: Tuesday 6 December 2022
The University is committed to diversifying its workforce. As examples, we already hold an Athena SWAN Silver Institutional Award in recognition of our advancement towards gender equality. We also have a Vice-Chancellor led Taskforce on Tackling Racism and a Race Equality Charter Working Group which support our work on race equality. Our aim is to submit to the Race Equality Charter in 2024.
