Senior Programme Manager
£44,737 to £51,805 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Manager to join UEA’s Strategic Programmes Team.
You will be a critical member of the team delivering the University’s ‘Future UEA’ strategic change portfolio and will have responsibility for the successful delivery, and day-to-day leadership, of our Strategic Review Programme.
You will be an excellent communicator, with proven influencing skills and the ability to quickly establish credibility with key stakeholders and Executive Officers. Your knowledge and practical experience of effective programme and project management will be underpinned by excellent analytical skills, a can-do attitude and a flexible approach which focuses on end users and outcomes.
The successful candidate will enjoy being part of a busy and highly collaborative team, using your initiative to resolve problems, learning new skills and working with others to develop and evolve good practice. Knowledge of higher education is not essential, but you will need to be able to quickly understand, and adapt to, the University environment.
The post is available immediately on a full-time, fixed term basis until 31 July 2024.
Closing Date: Thursday 1 December 2022
The University is committed to diversifying its workforce. As examples, we already hold an Athena Swan Silver Institutional Award in recognition of our advancement towards gender equality. We also have a Vice-Chancellor led Taskforce on Tackling Racism and a Race Equality Charter Working Group which support our work on race equality. Our aim is to submit to the Race Equality Charter in 2024.
