£27,929 to £34,308 per annum, pro rata for part-time

The Norwich Epidemiology Centre at the University of East Anglia is seeking two Research Associates to join the new Health Data Interpretation Group. We also have a vacancy for a Research Fellow.  The project is funded by Norfolk County Council to guide the recovery from the COVID pandemic. You will be based at the University of East Anglia and will work at the University and at Norfolk County Council as required by the project. Travel to other sites may be required. 

You will support all aspects of the study in order to analyse and interpret health and social care data from organisations across Norfolk. You will work under the supervision of the Research Fellow and the Principal Investigator, Nicholas Steel.

Essential requirements for the post include a relevant degree, knowledge of the structure and function of the National Health Service and good IT skills and research experience. You should have excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience of writing reports and presenting research results. Experience with analysing health or equivalent data and managing a database is essential. You will also meet all the essential criteria set out in the Person Specification.

There is 1.5fte available and this can be worked on a full-time or part-time basis for a fixed term basis of 12 months from the start date, expected to be 3 January 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter.
